Corporate Social Responsibility And Environmental Responsibility 


The Company commits and actively organizes social activities to create a balance between economic interests and social awareness. The Company conducts corporate social and environmental responsibility program as a form of social responsibility to the environment and society.

The Company believes that corporate social responsibility is a social investment that can provide sustainable benefits to communities and the environment. The Company will continue to work with local community to ensure that the corporate social responsibility programs are properly well-received by the community. The corporate social and environmental responsibility programs implemented in 2017 are as follows:




  • Minimizing the impacts of its business activities on the environment in accordance with the provisions stated in the AMDAL document.
  • Having tree planting and urban farming programs as support to the green programs in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
  • Implementing paperless program in daily operational activities.
  • Implementing electricity saving program, especially for air conditioners and chillers.
  • Using eco-friendly shopping bags in all stores.




  • Providing equal opportunities for personal, competency and career development for all employees, male and female, regardless of race and religion. Employee’ career development is mainly based on the results of the selection and performance evaluation.
  • Registering all qualified employees as BPJS participants for BPJS health and BPJS employment.
  • Implementing health program policy for all employees and their families to provide health allowance covering outpatient and inpatient expenses.
  • Providing training programs to develop the potential and capability of all employees. In 2017, the Company conducted training programs totaling 31,704 mandays.
  • Providing safety tools such as iron gloves, jackets and headgear for cold temperatures, boots, masks and other tools. The accident rate in the Company is very minimal.
  • Implementing labor complaints procedure based on the organizational structure, then being followed up by the Human Resources Division.
  • Implementing training and consultation by superiors, performance evaluation and reward and punishment policy based on employee performance.
  • Having allowance policy for position, placement, religious holidays, meals, transportation, maternity, condolescence and marriage.
  • The employee turnover rate in 2017 was 2.6%.




  • Recruiting employees from community surrounding the stores (local labor).
  • Implementing community social empowerment by having togetherness program with community and surrounding communities, such as earth day activity and donations.
  • Providing funding support for education during religious festivals such as Idul Fitri, Idul Adha and Christmas Day and donations.
  • Implementing commitment of good ethical standards to all stakeholders. All employees must perform all activities with integrity, honesty, openness, and in line with the Company’s code of ethics.




  • Implementing the principles and procedures of ISO 9001 in conducting operational activities.
  • Having ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications for all of the Company’s stores as an assurance to consumers regarding product health and safety.
  • Having policies and procedures for servicing and responding to customer complaints by providing media such as call centers and social media such as corporate email and customer service email.
