Bonza apples

Bonza apples are available between April and August. Their skin has a green- to cream-coloured background with a red blush. They have firm white flesh and a deliciously sweet flavour, making them popular with kids.

Quick ideas with BONZA APPLES

  1. Make a yummy apple salad with roughly chopped Bonza apples, chopped celery sticks, iceberg lettuce leaves and pecan nuts. Drizzle with a little lemon juice and toss with mayonnaise or ranch dressing.
  2. Make an apple fruit punch with 2 litres apple juice, 1 litre lemonade and 500ml orange juice. Stir through 2 Bonza apples, peeled, cored and chopped, 1 orange, peeled and chopped, and a handful of mint leaves.
