Red emperor grapes are a popular variety, varying in colour from red-violet to a deep purple. They are quite large and round in shape, with a mild, cherry-like flavour. They are a seeded variety, but their seeds are quite small. Available between March and May, red emperor grapes are great enjoyed fresh on their own, added to salads, or used in desserts.
