
Ingredients
- 2 pcs chicken breast without skin and bones
- 6 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil,
- 3 kaffir lime leaves
Seasoning for blend
- 6 shallots,
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp coriander seed,
- 1 tsp cumin,
- 1 tsp salt & ½ tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp vegetables oil for sauté-ing
Sweet chili soy sauce
10 eye bird chili, iris, 5 shallots, sliced, 2 kaffir lime leaves sliced, 1 tomato slice, 100 ml sweet soy sauce. *Combine all these ingredients together
Method
- Heat the oil in frying pan and sauté the seasoning blended with kaffir lime leaf until fragrant . Add sweet soy sauce and tamarind juice, stir well. Remove from the heat.
- Marinade the chicken with the cooked seasoning. Put to one side for an hour. Spike the chicken with bamboo skewers. Grill satay until well done
- Serve chicken satay with chili sweet sauce
